According to the post that I read the user had asked to have the Cipher Type as AES only. But the Cipher Type was setup as "TKIP and AES". So I went into the router settings- Wifi Settings- Kept the static DNS for my ISP- When I checked the security settings it was setup as Auto-WPA or WPA-2. But also asked to check the router WIFI settings and change the Security setting on the router to WPA with AES.
Then I read a post on the internet somewhere where the user asked to perform step-2 (above). Changing DNS on my iphone to Google's DNS (8.8.8.8) for the home Wifi. Tried changing my domain name on my phone to domainname.localĦ. So I changed it to my ISP DNS instead of router setting "Obtain DNS Automatically". Changed DNS on my router (as everyone I spoke to said it is DNS issue). Changed MTU on my router (from 1500 to 1400) - No luck either.Ĥ. But anyways I did do that without luck.ģ. Again as I said none of my computers were connecting to the OWA either so there was no point me resetting my network settings on my phone. Resetting the network settings on my phone- No luck. As soon as the Wifi is turned on the same problem- emails would not sync.Ģ. Deleting email account from my phone and creating a new one over the cellular data and then turning the wifi on. The other strange thing for me was whenever I would go to other wifi sources (like my work wifi) the emails had no issue syncing.ġ. I read on plenty of forums - many people have this problem but no one had any solution or the solutions they had posted did not work for me. Everytime I would turn off the WIFI on my iphone - Boom the emails would sync on my phone - No Problem at all.

The strangest thing was none of my home computers (Including PC & Mac) will not let me access OWA (Outlook Web Access) for my corporate emails. All of a sudden I was not able to sync my emails on my iphone over wifi. Then I had to reset my router over the weekend. Was able to sync my emails over wifi & 3G/4G without any problems. Everything was working fine without any issues. I have an iphone 6 and my corporate email setup on it.
